Role Description
At Aluxion we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test automation suites.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Robot Framework.
- Execute and analyze automated tests, identify and report defects.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software defects.
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
- Contribute to improving the overall quality and efficiency of the testing process.
- Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Playwright, Postman, and Xray.
- Expertise in API testing and automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Experience with mobile testing.
