[Hiring] Performance Tester @Sequoia Connect

Role Description

We are currently searching for a Performance Tester:

• Conduct performance, load, stress, and endurance testing.
• Develop browser-based and protocol-level tests, including file upload and multipart transaction testing.
• Model concurrent user and transaction volumes to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Perform end-to-end customer journey scripting across multiple systems.
• Execute backend monitoring and telemetry correlation during testing.
• Isolate bottlenecks across applications, middleware, databases, and dependencies.
• Perform capacity and breakpoint analysis, as well as synthetic monitoring for critical customer journeys.
• Define and manage performance NFRs, acceptance criteria, and release gates.
• Compare test results with actual production behavior and provide clear root-cause documentation and remediation validation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, k6, or a comparable performance testing tool.
• Proven experience in performance testing applications developed in Java, specifically involving WebSphere, WebLogic, and Oracle.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Requirements

• Strong experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, k6; WebSphere, WebLogic and Oracle performance testing- apps in JAVA; Backend monitoring and telemetry correlation; Bottleneck isolation.
