Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to drive quality improvements.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases
• Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and ensure timely fixes
• Perform sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing on new builds
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and review meetings in Agile/Scrum environments
• Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of requirements to test cases
• Provide feedback on usability, stability, and overall user experience
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle
• Experience with test case design techniques and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Mantis, TestLink)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
