Role Description
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer who will join one of our innovative products.
- Test Planning: Responsible for estimating testing timelines, writing test cases, and creating and maintaining up-to-date test documentation.
- Patch Testing & Stabilization: Conduct thorough testing and ensure the stability of each patch before release, following agile methodologies with multiple production releases per week.
- Continuous Improvement of Testing Processes: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA practices—standardizing repetitive tasks, optimizing workflows, and adopting new technologies to improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Web and Backend testing.
- Experience in creating and executing checklists, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Strong defect detection skills and the ability to clearly describe and document issues.
- Understanding of agile software development principles and the role of QA in this process.
- Solid knowledge of how client-server applications work.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail or Allure TestOps, as well as SQL, Fiddler or Charles, and Postman.
- Proficiency in both Russian and English (written and spoken).
