Role Description

Lead I - Software Testing

• Lead QE activities for the designated domain
• Plan and drive in-sprint testing, automation execution, and release sign-off
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Design and develop automation scripts using:
  • Selenium (Java)
  • Playwright (Typescript)
  • Appium
  • REST API frameworks
• Use AI-assisted testing solutions to accelerate testing tasks:
  • Test generation
  • Smart test selection
  • Failure insights
  • Self-healing concepts
• Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices
• Manage test execution on cloud platforms like:
  • Lambda
  • Test grid
  • SauceLabs
• Validate end-to-end system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts across enterprise systems
• Enable CI/CD pipeline integration and continuous quality gates
• Track quality metrics, risks, and readiness for production rollout
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, and Business teams to align testing with Corporate and financial workflows
• Ensure defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of strong hands-on QE leadership
• 4-5 years of strong Telecom digital domain knowledge across:
  • Mobile/Web
  • Chat/voice bots
  • Middleware systems
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with automation tools:
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • REST API
• 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience in programming languages:
  • Java
  • C#
  • Python
  • Typescript
• 3-5 years of expertise in API & integration testing across middleware services
• 3-5 years of SQL knowledge
• 2-4 years of data validation for transactions, order, and user/session data
• 1-2 years of experience with AI-driven quality insights
• 2-4 years of experience with Gitlab and CI/CD tools
• 4-6 years of manual testing experience
• 4-5 years of mobile automation experience with Appium
• 3-5 years of experience with test management tools like JIRA and Qtest
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
