[Hiring] Junior Test Analyst @Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions

Role Description

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process:

• Vehicle registrations
• Country booking
• Providing On-Board Units
• Position data transmission
• Charge calculation
• Fleet billing

Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.

Main tasks

• Design and execute test cases using structured testing methodologies, applying risk-based thinking to ensure critical functionalities are validated effectively.
• Leverage automated testing tools, management platforms like JIRA, and your knowledge of SQL, operating systems, and networking to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects.
• Collaborate within a SAFe Agile environment, demonstrating strong analytical skills, accountability, and clear communication while deep-diving into technical issues to determine root causes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, natural science, mathematics, business or equivalent work experience in IT.
• Experience in testing with an understanding of:
• Testing methodology and/or risk management
• Automated Testing tools and techniques
• Management Tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Basic understanding in SQL databases (e.g. Oracle)
• Basic understanding of Linux OS, Windows and UNIX
• Knowledge of basic network trouble-shooting
• Intermediate to advance knowledge in MS office suite tools.
• Analytical skills and structured approach to tackle technical issues.
• Endurance to deep dive into technical issues and find a cause of failure.
• Willing to work in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Teamwork/Self-organizing/Accountability/Communication.
