Role Description

Ace IT Careers is seeking candidates for a Junior QA Tester opportunity. No previous professional QA experience is required. Candidates with academic projects, internships, basic testing knowledge, or independent software testing experience are encouraged to apply. • Execute manual test cases for web-based software applications.
• Identify, document, and report software defects.
• Assist with functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Review application requirements and prepare basic test scenarios.
• Track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile team discussions and testing activities.
• Document testing results and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of professional software testing experience preferred.

• Basic understanding of web applications and software functionality.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Exposure to Jira or other defect-tracking tools (preferred but not required).
• Basic familiarity with SQL or API testing (preferred but not required).
• Introductory knowledge of Selenium or automation testing (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies (preferred but not required).
