[Hiring] Junior/Intermediate Test Engineer Automation @Dev.Pro

Role Description

We invite an experienced and proactive Automation Test Engineer to join our team on an exciting new project. In this role, you’ll help plan and implement the integration of large-scale products in the Point of Sale domain, designing and delivering robust, high-quality automation solutions on our cloud platform that bring real value to end users and create new opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software test automation
• Excellent Java coding skills with experience in IntelliJ and Selenium
• Hands-on experience with API automation, Appium, Maven, ADB, and HTML/CSS/XPath
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Experience maintaining automation frameworks and test tools
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Good understanding of SOLID design principles
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level
• Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills
• Strong ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin (desirable)
• Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch (desirable)
• Previous experience in the Point of Sale (POS) domain (desirable)
• Experience with GCP or other major cloud platforms (desirable)

Key Responsibilities

• Own the automation testing process, design and implement effective test scenarios, analyze results, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality software that fully meets client expectations.
• Define and implement scenarios for building robust, scalable, high-quality automation solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain in-house automation frameworks and tools.
• Prepare test data and proactively clarify requirements as needed.
• Review and analyze test execution results, maintain all related documentation.
• Communicate daily task status updates to the client.
• Perform SQL data quality testing on large datasets; perform functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with peers to define and recommend best practices for quality assurance using automation.
• Conduct impact analysis to evaluate effects on regression tests, code testability, and application performance to ensure smooth continuous testing.
