[Hiring] Intermediate Test Engineer @Dev.Pro

Role Description

We invite an Intermediate Manual Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the development of a leading healthcare cost-containment platform that offers affordable health insurance plans for self-insured employers, third-party administrators, commercial payers, and claim auditors. You’ll focus on manual testing and data validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of backend processes that power core components of the platform, including patient advocacy, analytics & reporting, and accredited care management services.

• Perform manual testing of data loading, transformation, and validation processes
• Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data from various sources
• Create, execute, and document test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Identify, report, and track defects related to data quality and processing
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and product stakeholders to align on testing needs and clarify requirements
• Use tools like Microsoft Excel and SQL queries to validate, analyze, and troubleshoot data issues
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to process improvements, and help enhance overall testing quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial manual testing experience
• Solid understanding of software testing, data validation, and QA best practices
• Experience creating, executing, and documenting test cases
• Strong SQL skills for data validation
• Proficiency in Excel and basic REST API testing (Postman)
• Experience with test management or defect-tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC in Agile
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and suggest improvements
• Ownership, accountability, and visibility in work
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Requirements

• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server (desirable)
• Experience with Redgate or similar tools (desirable)
• Practical experience using Git for version control (desirable)
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other data-heavy domains (desirable)
