Role Description
We are looking for a Junior to Middle General QA Engineer who will work on a product for the Pharma industry in the USA and will perform manual as well as automation tasks. The expected proportion of manual / automation is 50%/50%. We are building a DWH + BI system to monitor the drug flow in the US.
- Analysis of system requirements and producing testing specifications from systems requirements (Jira, Confluence)
- Functional testing business intelligence software, including an ETL-based data warehouse and BI reporting application
- Communication with development team regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations
- Design, creation and analysing test documentation (test plans, test cases, test specifications, user guides, checklists, bug reports) (XRay)
- Support test documentation
- Automation of regression and functional testing (Robot Framework/Selenium)
- Test data preparations
Qualifications
- Knowledge of test types and methods of organizing them as part of the process for testing
- Strong understanding of development and testing processes
- Comprehensive approach to testing (manual and automation)
- Basic Bash scripting skills
- English spoken Upper-intermediate level or higher
Requirements
- Must have at least one of the following:
- Experience in automated testing (Python) and be familiar with automation tools i.e. PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.
- Experience in testing Web services, API testing, understanding client-server architecture
- Basic Database knowledge (PostgreSQL)
- Nice to have:
- Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with Big Data concepts
