Role Description

Requirement Analysis: Reviewing functional specifications, user stories, and technical documents to understand testing requirements.

Test Case Development: Creating detailed test cases, scripts, and test data based on system functionality.

Test Execution: Performing manual or automated tests to ensure features function as expected, including UI, integration, and API testing.

Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying bugs in defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Quality Center).

Regression Testing: Ensuring bug fixes and new updates do not break existing functionality.

Collaboration: Working with developers and product teams to refine requirements and troubleshoot issues.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database testing, experience with Test Management Tools (e.g., HP Quality Center, Jira), and automation tools (e.g., Selenium).

Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
