Role Description

You're the person who spots the typo no one else sees. The one who knows when a comma is wrong before you can explain why. Now get paid for it. We're hiring an Arabic Quality Specialist for a remote transcription project. You'll be the person the team comes to when something doesn't look right — reviewing quality, answering language questions, and keeping work on track. If you're fluent in Arabic (Egypt) and sharp in English, this is your kind of gig.

• Review transcriptions for language quality, grammar, spelling, and accuracy
• Assign tasks and oversee progress to keep the project moving
• Be the first stop when reviewers flag quality issues, following our QC workflow guide
• Answer language-specific questions from the team
• Escalate unresolved quality issues to the Regional Lead
• Communicate clearly and promptly in English

Qualifications

• Native or full proficiency in Arabic (ISO:ar_eg)
• Strong working proficiency in English — assessment required
• Sharp grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills — proficiency test required
• Experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, or localization (strongly preferred)
• Your own computer, reliable internet, and strong web research skills
• Responsive communicator with consistent email access
• Able to onboard within two (2) weeks
