Role Description
This role involves working closely with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to ensure the quality of data through rigorous testing and automation.
- Work with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to develop test plans and strategies
- Create and document manual and automated test cases
- Execute tests in a timely fashion
- Prepare detailed reports from test executions
- Coordinate defect management; work with the intake and product team to resolve issues
- Responsible for the preparation of test data
- Provide regular communication of project status and issues requiring escalation
- Demonstrate technical leadership and consultation with regards to quality practices, procedures, and techniques
- Develop and build automation frameworks and tests for regression test suites
- Learn and absorb new technologies quickly
- Be a strong team player and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant technology experience
- 3+ years of writing medium to moderate complexity SQLs to analyze data
- 3+ years of experience with Snowflake
- 3+ years of experience with BigQuery
- 2+ years of experience with Python
- 2+ years of experience with Jupyter Notebooks
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple, competing deliverables
