[Hiring] Automation QA Engineer @Ciklum

Role Description

Ciklum is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. As an Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The development team is in charge of creating new features for high-end customers, delivering a great impact across the product components.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain the underlying infrastructure that supports automated testing (e.g., test environments, execution platforms, distributed runners, containers, virtual machines)
• Develop automated validation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and components for testing purposes
• Build scalable automation tools for large-scale testing
• Ensure test automation is scalable, reliable, and integrates seamlessly with CI/CD
• Work closely with automation engineers to understand their needs for running functional, performance, and end-to-end tests
• Execute manual test plans meticulously, identifying software functionality discrepancies
• Engage collaboratively with product, engineering, and leadership teams
• Work within diverse frameworks and environments, enhancing testing processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Testing
• 1.5+ years of experience with Python Automation, demonstrating strong coding skills in Python
• Quick in learning and adapting to new technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools like Jira and Jenkins
• Experience with Linux/Unix OS and understanding TCP/IP networking - advantage
• Capable of analyzing requirements, designing comprehensive manual test scenarios, and documenting clear and maintainable test cases
