[Hiring] Associate Software QA Engineer @First Advantage Global operating Centre

Role Description

Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, usability, performance, and reliability.

• Review business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases, test data, and test execution documentation.
• Identify, log, track, and retest software defects while working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and API applications.
• Contribute to test automation by developing and maintaining automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• Validate production fixes, releases, and deployments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to improve product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying testing efficiencies, automation opportunities, and process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, testing standards, and compliance requirements.
• Provide timely status updates on testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in UI & API Automation.
• 2 years of experience in QA and Agile Practices.
