[Hiring] Agentic QA Lead @Elastic

Role Description

This is a role which will help to lead and shape quality assurance efforts across the Observability line of business, both by defining quality strategy for the organization and by performing a variety of hands-on-keyboard exploratory testing activities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing exploratory testing against recent builds of the application and providing feedback to product teams on undesirable behavior.
• This work may include the configuration and deployment of a wide variety of software platforms and instrumenting them to send data to the Elastic Stack.
• Analyzing testing strategies employed by various teams and recommending specific improvements.
• Coordinating between release management and product teams to determine the fitness of the product prior to release.
• Participating in coordination efforts with other quality assurance teams across the organization to standardize on quality strategy for the company.

Qualifications

• Agent Framework Expertise: Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or similar agentic platforms.
• LLM Integration: Proven ability to work with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, open-source models) including prompt engineering, function calling, and context management.
• Software Testing Knowledge: Deep understanding of exploratory testing methodologies, test case design, and quality assurance principles.
• Automation & Orchestration: Experience building systems that coordinate multiple agents or automated workflows at scale.
• Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python or similar languages used for agent development and test automation.
