[Hiring] Workday Test Manager @VirtualResource

Role Description

As a Workday Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading test initiatives and managing communications among all vested stakeholders. You will be responsible for all aspects of Workday test management delivery, including:

• Planning
• Executing
• Monitoring
• Controlling projects to successful outcomes

You will collaborate with:

• Functional end users
• Functional SMEs
• Department leaders
• IT
• Vendors

The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to standard test management methodology and best practice with a keen understanding of the systems development life cycle (STLC).

As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls, and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management are essential for this role.

Job Description includes:

• Developing and documenting comprehensive Workday test plans
• Planning, designing, and developing new and innovative test strategies to meet project needs
• Implementing best practice processes, and driving continuous improvement for repeatable successful test delivery
• Managing stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management
• Leading and connecting all parties involved in the test activities including business managers, programme managers, and project teams, to ensure the creation of integrated solutions and plans that meet organisational guidelines and priorities
• Managing multiple test cycles simultaneously, keeping them on track
• Ensuring all test activities comply with the standards and procedures of VirtualResource and VirtualResource clients
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Workday Test management experience is a must
• Experience with HR projects is a must
• Business Analysis and Requirements gathering abilities

Requirements

• Previous project management experience (advantageous)
• Educated to degree level (advantageous)
• Experience in Agile and waterfall methodologies (advantageous)
• As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the EMEA or South Africa, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
