Role Description
BRT is seeking a dynamic and experienced senior manager to oversee and lead our branch managers at several warehouse locations. This position will be responsible for maintaining inventory and ensuring streamlined warehouse operations, efficient inventory management, and exceptional customer service across all facilities in several states around the country.
- Supervise branch managers and provide guidance to ensure high levels of performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory management processes are executed with precision and efficiency.
- Implement and optimize warehouse management and inventory software systems to enhance accuracy and productivity. (APICS experience required)
- Maintain and improve customer service standards, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that align with overall business goals and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with relevant safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing teams, with a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in managing related software systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a multi-site operational setting.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on fostering collaborative and productive working relationships.
- APICS Experience required and APICS Certification Preferred.
Requirements
- This position requires the individual to work in a plant/manufacturing/distribution center environment.
- Temperatures can fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level can be high.
- An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb, and push/pull frequently.
- An individual in this role will need to be always aware of movement and/or noises around them.
- An individual in this role must move 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- An individual in this role will remain stationary and move about the factory as needed per essential duties of the position.
- An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read, follow and give written procedures and instructions to employees with or without reasonable accommodations.
