[Hiring] Technical Project Manager @Digital Virgo

Role Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our fast-paced and international team. You will be the key interface between business and technical teams, ensuring project delivery that aligns with business objectives and meets high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Define project roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and manage delivery in coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions in collaboration with developers and architects.
• Write and maintain functional and technical documentation, including API specs and integration guidelines.
• Lead project planning, monitor progress, and report on key milestones.
• Organize and facilitate meetings to review progress, manage risks, and address blockers.
• Conduct end-to-end testing and validate deliverables (including log analysis and cross-platform checks).
• Apply internal project management methodologies, tools, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a technical project manager, ideally in telecom or digital services.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong technical understanding of:
  • APIs, XML, JSON, databases
  • Network/connectivity topics (VPN, IP whitelisting, etc.)
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project) and frameworks (PMP, Scrum, Agile).
• Familiarity with data tools like Kibana, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
• Bonus: knowledge of mobile protocols (SMS, USSD, WAP, SMPP) and mobile payment systems.
