Role Description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Research & Development team at Real. The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing some of the most important product features in the company. This role requires an individual to lead cross functional team activities, track project dependencies, create project plans, and manage the resolution of issues. This person is the glue that holds teams together - always ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Facilitate daily standups with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure effective execution and timely escalation to management
- Serve as Scrum Master over agile ceremonies, collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ensure teams stay on track with commitments and remove blockers as needed
- Maintain reporting dashboards, team metrics, visualizations such as GANTT charts, and identify opportunities for workflow automation to streamline these tasks
- Define and manage project timelines, roadmaps, and milestones, aligning with business objectives and technical constraints
- Support periodic reviews by audit teams, compliance teams, and other risk-related functions that occur on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
- Foster an engaging work environment where team members feel motivated and inspired to do their best work every day
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management roles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects using Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery
- Familiarity with project management tools like YouTrack, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong proficiency with project management tools (e.g. YouTrack or Jira)
- Proven experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to take action
- Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and ability to analyze details and translate into the “big picture” view
- Ability to drive and motivate teams, and reprioritize based on business needs
- Experience with agile or scrum methodologies
Physical Requirements
- Sit for long periods of time
- Travel less than 10%
