Role Description
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who thrives on solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and delivering meaningful impact for customers. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of Buoy’s platform by guiding customers through seamless integrations and influencing both product and technical direction. Success here requires a unique mix of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a low-ego, team-first mindset.
- Lead high-value implementations and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Ensure customers unlock the full potential of Buoy’s SaaS platform.
- Travel at least once per month to meet with customer companies and their executive teams.
- Build trust and understand real-world use cases through high-touch interactions.
Qualifications
- Be a passionate communicator, advisor, and advocate for the Customer.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of software development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
Requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with Buoy customers, engineering, and operations teams from pre-sale through implementation.
- Understand customer architecture and technical environments to inform integration strategy.
- Drive business outcomes by creating scalable, customer-focused technical artifacts.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical thought leadership to internal teams.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deeply understand use cases.
- Demonstrate strong systems thinking and cross-functional leadership.
