These initiatives support organizational growth and align with the Information Security team's strategic objectives. As a Technical Program Manager, contribute to strategic initiatives supporting Akamai and its customers effectively. Focus on projects related to compliance, security engineering, threat and vulnerability management, and product security. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders while demonstrating curiosity, empathy, and transparency in interactions.

As a Program Manager Technical, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating, communicating, and delivering critical projects accurately and on time.
• Aligning with relevant stakeholders on definition of project scope, requirements, objectives, and milestones.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for project planning, requirements gathering, and successful plan execution.
• Working with project teams to identify and evaluate project risks and issues.
• Offering guidance, encouragement, and clarity to project teams while enhancing communication, listening, and leadership abilities.
• Engaging in learning and mentorship with Manager and Senior Level PgMs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in leading technical and cross-functional projects/programs.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Traditional PMI methods).
• Expertise using Atlassian Toolset (Jira, Confluence) and project management platforms like Workfront or Smartsheet.
• Capability to interact with stakeholders empathetically, think critically in projects, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and systems.
• Drive for learning program management and process improvement techniques.
