[Hiring] Technical Program Manager @Deepgram

Role Description

This role involves working at the intersection of research output and technical delivery within Deepgram’s Research organization. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for:

• Owning end-to-end delivery of new model versions and features for STT and TTS offerings.
• Defining and championing lightweight but effective processes that enhance visibility and accountability.
• Mapping dependencies and risks across all active cross-functional projects.
• Running cross-functional programs end-to-end, including scope definition, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
• Troubleshooting cross-team blockers and building reliable partnerships across the technical organization.
• Owning proactive communication across all levels of the organization.
• Responding quickly to shifting priorities and translating decisions into clear implications for timelines and dependencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Program Manager.
• In-depth, working knowledge of how machine learning systems are built.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream technical programs on time.
• Demonstrated ability to map cross-functional dependencies and technical risk.
• Experience designing lightweight processes that improve execution velocity.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating program health and spotting bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication skills for both senior leadership and researchers.
• A pragmatic, roll-up-your-sleeves orientation.
• Bonus points for experience with speech or audio projects.
