You’ll collaborate closely with internal engineering, R&D, QA, and support teams, receiving high-level, outcome-based requirements from our Technical Program Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Management
    • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers and project leads, ensuring a high standard of performance, engagement, and professional growth.
    • Develop and optimize team structures, resource planning, and talent development strategies to scale delivery capabilities.
    • Foster a culture that values ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Senior-Level Project Delivery
    • Translate complex, outcome-driven requirements from Technical Program Managers into comprehensive project roadmaps and execution plans.
    • Oversee multiple, concurrent implementation projects—coordinating internal teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality releases.
    • Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively with senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Quality Assurance & Release Management
    • Establish and uphold rigorous quality controls, encompassing functionality, data integrity, performance, and user acceptance criteria.
    • Work with QA resources (matrixed or dedicated) to align on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and release protocols.
    • Drive continuous improvement in release readiness processes and performance metrics.
  • Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving
    • Provide deep-dive technical guidance, from code-level debugging to data-level analysis, empowering the team to solve complex challenges.
    • Collaborate with R&D to integrate new product features seamlessly, ensuring reliable configurations for enterprise-scale use cases.
    • Champion the introduction and application of cutting-edge tools—including GenAI—to automate, optimize, and simplify implementation workflows.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Identify and implement strategic improvements to reduce manual effort, boost delivery speed, and maintain consistent quality across projects.
    • Promote documentation, best practices, and standardized procedures to drive efficiency and scalability.
    • Leverage metrics, analytics, and user feedback to iterate on processes and evolve best-in-class delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in software delivery, implementation, or technical program/project management, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in fast-paced or enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in software configuration, integration APIs, data pipelines, debugging, and system performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience tackling complex technical issues at both application and data levels.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI).
  • Strong background in leading and mentoring high-performing technical teams, including architects, senior developers, and QA leads.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interfacing with executive-level audiences.
  • Adept at guiding cross-functional groups toward common goals and managing change in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the energy or utilities sector is beneficial, but not required.
  • Ability to adapt rapidly to evolving industry trends and new technologies.
