They will play a critical role in project planning, on-site setup and commissioning, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturer/ODM partners, customers, and internal development or sales teams, including extended on-site assignments of 2+ months in other U.S. states or neighboring North American countries when required.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

    • Lead the full project lifecycle β€” including kick-off, implementation, on-site setup, commissioning, final inspection/validation, and completion reporting for unmanned forklift deployments.
    • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and deployment timelines.
    • Own project timelines, milestones, and cross-functional coordination to ensure structured, on-time delivery across customer sites.
  • Integration & Deployment Support
    • Lead the setup, testing, and validation of robots in customer environments, including integration with upper-level systems such as PLC, WMS, and MES.

    • Provide on-site or remote deployment support, including extended on-site assignments of 2+ months in other U.S. states or neighboring North American countries.
    • Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and detailed project plans to ensure structured, on-time deployment across customer sites.
    • Own the technical project lifecycle by managing timelines, milestones, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful site-level execution.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, manufacturers, and ODM vendors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
    • Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders β€” including customers, SI partners, development teams, and on-site operations β€” to drive successful project outcomes.
    • Monitor deployment performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Feedback & Product Insight
    • Collect and synthesize field and customer feedback to provide actionable insights to sales and development teams.
    • Prepare completion reports and structured documentation for each deployment phase.

Qualifications

  • Experience in executing projects related to Unmanned forklifts or AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) or AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles).
  • Experience leading or executing the full project lifecycle: kick-off, implementation, on-site setup, commissioning, final inspection, and completion reporting.
  • 2+ years of Project Management (PM) experience in System Integration (SI), solutions, or logistics/manufacturing automation.
  • Proven track record of analyzing customer requirements and successfully leading projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, SI partners, development teams, and on-site operations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for long-term assignments (2+ months) to other US states or neighboring North American (NA) countries.

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

  • Experience in automation projects, including Robotics, Logistics Automation, and Factory Automation.
  • Experience integrating upper-level systems such as PLC, WMS, and MES.

  • Comfortable working in warehouse or industrial environments during deployment phases.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer and participating in virtual calls.
