[Hiring] Supply Chain Project Manager @GE Vernova

Role Description

The Project representative within the Supply Chain organization, responsible for:

• Representing Supply Chain within the Project team during execution, covering all sub-functions such as Manufacturing, Sourcing, Procurement, and Transport & Logistics.
• Guaranteeing full implementation of Customer contractual requirements for Equipment delivery.
• Acting as the conduit between supply chain, engineering COE, and the projects team to drive execution of the allocated Project.
• Managing Supply Chain action progress plan to ensure On Time Delivery, Quality (NCR), Cost, and contractual compliance.
• Updating, analyzing, and managing key performance indicators and ensuring regular feedback of experience.
• Managing detailed budget (CTC), risks, and opportunities related to supply chain.
• Working closely with Material Management, Planning, Material Planner (make or buy), Sourcing, and Transport & Logistics team, as well as all project team members under the lead of the project director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor to Master in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management coordination, Manufacturing, sourcing/procurement/supply chain in a project-related context.
• English is mandatory as per project location in the US.

• Project Management experience: Build milestone and resource plan, anticipate and manage Risk & Opportunities (Q, C, D, EHS), build operating rhythm and tracking mechanism for issues.
• Operational Effectiveness, Accountability, & Urgency: Result-oriented, manage customer expectations, and effectively deliver in the spirit of the agreement.
• Team of Teams mindset: Negotiate with all functions, engage and create consensus between business partners and subject matter experts.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage across direct and indirect teams to improve operations and deliver for customers using Lean principles and methodologies.
• Product Knowledge: Working technical knowledge of Hydro.
• Supply Chain: Understand the operational process map, recognize and communicate customer-specific requirements, and develop long-term plans to mitigate risks.
• Product Cost: Recognize deliverable metrics for various business functions and support/influence suppliers to develop and execute resource, capacity, and technology plans.
