[Hiring] Staff Technical Program Manager, Community Support Engineering @Airbnb

Role Description

Airbnb’s mission is to create a world where people can Belong Anywhere. As we grow to achieve that mission, we’re looking to add a technical, hands-on, and mission-driven Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Community Support Engineering (CSE) team.

• Partner with CS engineering, ops, and product teams to build/enhance decision making across multiple areas in Airbnb.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leaders in CSE on processes, strategy, and execution.
• Drive requirements and leverage expertise to solve strategic problems at Airbnb.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the software development industry with at least 7 years as a technical program manager.
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and ability to adapt well and work with teams having different operating cadences.
• Proven track record of influencing others with strong analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to understand the bigger picture using technical expertise.
• Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills.
• Exhibit knowledge of Asana, Jira, or other equivalent task management tooling.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Experience developing processes where little exists.
• Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Ability to influence stakeholders.

Benefits

• Base pay range: $194,000 — $242,000 USD.
• Role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
