[Hiring] Senior Technical Project Manager @Brandtech+

Role Description

This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading tech projects and campaigns within an agency setup will have an advantage.

The Tech Senior PM is responsible for running processes and working alongside our existing talented Project Management team to drive a project from brief to delivery. They work with the Account Management and Resourcing Team to schedule projects and resources and help source the right talent, both internally and externally, to fulfill projects to the highest standards.

They have a good understanding of tech platforms, disciplines, and are confident working in agency teams. They create timing plans and budgets within our traffic system, assume responsibility for the review and approval process and ensure the projects they own run on time and on budget.

You will need to be great with creative/tech teams and account teams alike, hardworking and passionate about technology and producing the best product you can. Process is key, and someone who really respects and understands that, also can follow a framework and process to allow the team to thrive.

What we want to see is a proven track record of producing multiple complex projects. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day running of multiple prestigious projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a general project manager
• Leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
• Ability to prepare and present documentation to non-IT business people
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
• Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders, and peers
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results
• Track record of successful IT project management and delivery
• Background with IT technical skills/systems experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Requirements

• Manage projects for client implementations and internal projects
• Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility, and reviewing and improving processes where necessary
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for several initiatives simultaneously
• Meeting with stakeholders to manage project scope and changes
• Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues - building rapport and credibility
• Managing the relationship with all stakeholders, making sure full management buy-in is achieved
• Identifying suitable communication strategies for all levels of stakeholders
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors
• Organising resource availability and allocation
• Meeting budgetary objectives and making adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Managing the day-to-day project activities, resources and chairs project meetings
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities to key stakeholders
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Understand interdependencies and cross functional responsibilities
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across teams and leadership
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences
