As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will contribute to strategic programs that will directly support Akamai and its customers. This role will be focused on projects in such areas as compliance, security engineering, threat & vulnerability management, and product security. You will need to interact with, and support, the business and technical stakeholders with compassion, empathy, and candor.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating, communicating, and delivering critical projects accurately and on time
• Driving definition of project scope, requirements, objectives, and milestones, involving all relevant stakeholders
• Partnering with stakeholders and project teams to plan projects and ensure they stay on track
• Working with project teams to identify and evaluate project risks and issues
• Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication alongside listening skills to ensure clarity, trust, and well-coordinated project execution
• Learning and operating within InfoSec PMO frameworks and processes

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex technical projects/programs
• Hands-on knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Traditional PMI methods, etc.)
• Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders with compassion and empathy
• Successful track record of stakeholder management, including executive level stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority
• Fluency in English
