Role Description

The Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives that improve supply chain performance, operational efficiency, risk management, and business scalability across CONMED's global manufacturing and distribution network. This role serves as the primary project leader for high-impact initiatives involving sourcing, planning, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, quality, engineering, and regulatory affairs. The Senior Project Manager represents Supply Chain and Operations on strategic projects and drives execution from concept through implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and financial commitments. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with deep supply chain knowledge and the ability to influence senior leaders, manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver sustainable business results in a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sourcing, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• MBA or Master's Degree.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple simultaneous projects with significant business impact.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and distribution processes.
• Experience working within a regulated industry environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience in Medical Device, Healthcare Technology, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent systems.
• Experience leading ERP, S&OP, IBP, supply chain transformation, or manufacturing transfer initiatives.
• Familiarity with FDA QMSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and global regulatory requirements.
