Role Description

The Project Manager will provide planning, coordinating, development, documenting, and delivery of multiple Artificial Intelligence, M365, and Cloud-related projects from the analysis phase through to the implementation phase. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and understanding departmental and corporate policies, business rules, data requirements, and supporting system processes.
• Ensuring objectives and schedules align with GoA goals and objectives.
• Providing recommendations on resource requirements, dependencies, interdependencies, and policy implications.
• Having working knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure environments, including workstation/server hardware and software build strategies.
• Understanding IT Change and Communication Management and User Acceptance Testing frameworks.
• Exhibiting excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Functioning effectively in both individual and team environments.
• Being aware of existing GoA and department IT policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and practices.

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects.
• Oversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress.
• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding project status.
• Compiles project charters and business/project plans.
• Documents business requirements and delivers IT solutions compliant with enterprise architecture.
• Produces and packages deliverables for presentation to stakeholders.
• Manages multiple projects, project resources, and project governance.
• Ensures effective project communication and escalates risks as required.
• Collaborates with business and IT leadership to develop a well-defined project plan.
• Documents and reports project status against established objectives, milestones, budget, and resources.
• Develops project schedule plans and strategies, estimates resource requirements, and monitors work plans.
• Provides guidance to project resources in establishing work priorities.
• Assesses project outcomes and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Provides leadership and assistance in change management and communication support.
• Works within the standards defined by the project management office.
