Role Description

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) who will be responsible for all aspects of design-build/engineer-procure-construct projects including:

• Management and administration of the prime contract
• Overseeing engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction management teams
• Supervision of all field operations on assigned projects
• Auditing and inspection of work performed by construction subcontractors

What You'll Do

• Manage integrated Design-Build (DB)/Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) teams from project inception through completion
• Provide overall direction and coordination of engineering design and construction activities
• Administer and manage the prime contract, construction subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with customer goals and expectations associated with safety, quality, and environmental stewardship
• Plan, execute, and provide reporting on overall project performance
• Work directly with the customer to ensure optimal communication and customer satisfaction
• Mitigate and effectively resolve potential disputes
• Develop and provide oversight to ensure compliance with project-specific health and safety plans
• Directly supervise Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
• Respond to and/or oversee Requests for Information
• Perform value engineering and constructability reviews
• Develop procurement status reports with engineering design, procurement, scheduling, and estimating teams
• Review and approve subcontract and purchase order invoices
• Develop initial project-specific schedules
• Administer and manage changes to the prime contract
• Submit and expedite timely receipt of progress payments
• Coordinate, prepare, and present progress, budget forecasting, and schedule management reports
• Perform project close-out and warranty administration
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
• 10+ years’ experience in Construction Project Management, with direct DB/EPC projects in the power delivery industry preferred
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work

• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software; Primavera P6 preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the power delivery industry
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental best practices employed by the power industry
• Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance measures utilized by the power industry

• Travel: Yes
• Percent of Time: Up to 50%, or as project needs require
