Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Producer with deep expertise in soccer, ideally with experience playing at the collegiate level or professional involvement in the sport. The ideal candidate will have experience managing soccer-related brand activations, fan engagement events, and stadium activations. This role will require extensive knowledge of the sport, the culture surrounding it, and how to execute experiential events that resonate with soccer audiences.
The Senior Producer plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of experiential marketing initiatives and is responsible for growing and educating a team of process and best practices. This individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project development, management, and execution, ensuring seamless delivery of high-impact events and activations.

Develop and execute soccer-focused experiential marketing campaigns, working closely with brands, clubs, and event organizers.

Lead the production of stadium activations, team sponsorship events, and fan engagement initiatives.

Collaborate strategically with Creative, Client Services, and Business Development teams to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts and ideas for projects.

Support initial proposals, pitches, and RFPs, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.

Develop comprehensive budgets, project timelines, and operational plans tailored to the specific requirements of each project.

Partner with the VP of Production in deliverables and pitches.
Qualifications

Prior experience in collegiate or professional soccer, or significant career involvement in the sport, is required.

Experience managing soccer-related experiential marketing campaigns, including stadium activations, fan engagement, and sports sponsorships.

Strong knowledge of soccer culture, tournament structures, and fan expectations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship or equivalent field.

6-10 years of real-world experience in Special Events, Event Production, Experiential Marketing, Immersive Theatre Production or other related field.

Firm knowledge and experience of producing a variety of events focused on experiential marketing and brand immersion.

Project management and leadership experience required; proven ability to manage and develop a team.

Experience working in an agency environment preferred.

Possession of strong writing and editing skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Notion.

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communicator and strong negotiation skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and professional documents.

Organized individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, always on environment.

A solutions-oriented, positive attitude with the ability to problem solve intuitively and creatively for a variety of challenges.
Requirements

Create detailed budgets for projects upwards of $5M, leveraging previous experience, industry contacts, and thorough research.

Monitor project finances closely, tracking expenses, addressing scope changes, and optimizing profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage contracts with soccer organizations, stadiums, and vendors specializing in soccer-related experiences.

Craft detailed production timelines including key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.

Implement strategies to keep projects on track, anticipate and mitigate potential delays, and ensure timely project delivery.

Work with vendors and creative teams to develop soccer-specific event elements, such as interactive skills challenges, team meet-and-greets, and branded fan experiences.

Oversee the seamless transition of projects from initial development to final execution.

Ensure continuity and alignment between project objectives and execution strategies.

Maintain open lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle and client feedback and concerns, resolve issues, and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations in partnership with the Client Services team.

Empower team members to excel and delegate tasks and projects based on individual strengths, skills, and availability.

Monitor project team bandwidth and forecast resource needs to ensure the team is adequately staffed and resourced for upcoming projects.

Evaluate existing project management processes and protocols to identify areas for improvement.

Provide training and support to team members on new processes and protocols, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Oversee administrative tasks related to project management, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Attend and actively contribute to production and company-wide meetings, providing insights and updates on project status and departmental initiatives.

Support the implementation of company-wide systems and practices outside of the production department.
