[Hiring] Senior Consultant, Enterprise Digital Transformation Project Manager @BerryDunn

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant, Enterprise Digital Transformation Project Manager, to join our growing team of professionals. Focused on inspiring organizations to transform and innovate, LGPG partners with municipal, county, regional, and quasi-governmental entities throughout the US to help them meet their biggest challenges.

Our EDT practice focuses on working with municipal clients (cities, counties, schools, and special districts) to address business process transformation initiatives, including:

• Process and policy assessments/gap analyses
• Software assessments and replacement planning
• Providing client-side project management as clients implement new software solutions

You will serve as a Project Manager, working with BerryDunn and our client project teams as they plan for and select new enterprise software systems. The successful candidate will lead software system assessment and selection/procurement projects involving many systems used by local governments including:

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Customer Information Systems (CIS)
• Related best-of-breed software systems

This team member will have the flexibility to be located out of either our Portland, Maine office, or as a remote employee based in the East or Central region. This position will support client engagements nationwide, primarily supporting large enterprise organizations.

Travel Expectations:

• Willingness to travel 25-40%

You Will:

• Be responsible for client engagements, leading the delivery of services to clients on time, within scope, and within budget, including assisting in creating written deliverables and other work products
• Conduct and document stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions with a variety of client stakeholders across departments
• Analyze current-state client business processes and identify opportunities for operational and technology improvements
• Develop concise summaries, reports, and presentations of complex data for client leadership
• Extend yourself beyond the demands of current assignments and responsibilities and accept new assignments
• Participate in staff/team meetings and training and work effectively as a collaborator on multiple client projects
• Partner with client staff to develop and administer procurement activities
• Communicate project and delivery status to our clients, team members, and other stakeholders
• Supervise assigned team members on engagement teams
• Participate in marketing and business development activities
• Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) opportunities for prospective new client work
• Perform assigned administrative tasks effectively and efficiently

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in a technical field or related, relevant work experience
• 4 to 8 years of professional experience, preferably in a Business/Technical Analyst or Project Manager role
• While not a requirement, applicants with prior experience working within local government organizations, management/technology consulting experience, or prior ERP implementation experience, are strongly encouraged to apply
• A current PMP certification, the equivalent project management experience; or, the passion to obtain a PMP certification
• Excellence in the areas of time management, flexibility, and attention to details
• Ability to balance multiple priorities to autonomously achieve quality results in a timely manner
• Ability to work across time zones
• Ability to use problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to resolve project issues
• Ability to remain highly responsive to internal and external communications

• Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $90,000 - 120,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
