Role Description
This Research Manager position allows for the perfect combination of skills and expertise necessary to provide an incomparable client experience, backed by an exceptional internal support network.
- Independently manage multiple quantitative and qualitative market research projects simultaneously (6-8 projects at a time), ensuring smooth execution of project within timelines and project costs.
- Develop, implement, and execute project plans to ensure client objectives are met, while contributing meaningful recommendations regarding survey or screener design, research methodology, and reporting.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of all project deliverables across interdepartmental teams, delegating responsibilities appropriately among team members.
- Cultivate a client-centric culture, focused on providing superior insights and results, while demonstrating dedication toward continuous improvement and growing long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve a successful recruit, continuously monitoring project elements to identify potential roadblocks and manage to resolution.
- Be flexible and adaptable with changes to existing key elements of projects as required by internal teams or the client directly.
- Respond quickly to unanticipated or urgent issues and manage to resolution, escalating as appropriate.
- Remain in alignment with various company goals such as maintaining high client satisfaction scores and quick project close out.
- Demonstrate an understanding of project cost, feasibility, and margin.
- Work within Sago systems effectively throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Work in accordance with company SOPs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience working in a market research environment, managing projects and client expectations.
- Qualitative and Quantitative management experience a plus.
- End client / brand management experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel.
Requirements
- Consistently provides service excellence, turning a project into projects, ultimately building and maintaining successful client relationships.
- Experience conducting market research, preferably digital.
- Open-minded and solution oriented, with strong critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high pressure and stressful situations.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and juggle multiple deadlines at once while working collaboratively with teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to tell a story.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Must be adaptable; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Qual Products and services; provide assistance and consultation to clients as needed.
