Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in software engineering and management roles.
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and SAFe framework.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), modern engineering practices, and technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Support the Agile Release Train framework by facilitating PI (Program Increment) planning sessions, sprint iteration demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ART, regularly track progress, and report status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee and track program-level execution, helping teams and ART deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, product owners, scrum masters, business stakeholders, and other ART stakeholders.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, and work with teams to create mitigation strategies.
• Mentor Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team leads in Agile best practices and SAFe principles.
• Establish best practices for ART in retrospectives and process improvements.
• Regularly interact with business and technical stakeholders to understand business needs and manage expectations.
