[Hiring] Project Manager, WMS Implementation @DSV

Role Description

The Project Manager, BCM for DSV Contract Logistics Implementation Team will be responsible to plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of projects related to new business implementation and other existing business initiatives within the Solutions organization, focused on warehousing and distribution centers. This Project Manager will work closely with the client and DSV leadership to ensure that each project is on schedule, within scope, and on budget.

• Clear understanding of all phases of the project implementation schedule, including core deliverables for each functional area and their timing.
• Align input from Client and Business to ensure the Project Scope is clearly captured.
• Create a detailed task list (Project Schedule) with milestones and critical path tasks.
• Communicate the Project Scope and Schedule to all project resources and stakeholders.
• Hold team members and contractors accountable for completion of deliverables.
• Manage project budget, scope, and timeline through proactive communication.
• Lead regular status meetings with the project team to capture updates, next steps, and risks/mitigation.
• Escalate issues/risks appropriately to Manager and Project Sponsor.
• Lead Steering Committee updates covering executive level status, budget, and risks.
• Plan and effectively manage transition from project execution to stable operations.
• Facilitate AQP sessions.
• Assist with drafting MS Project files tailored for RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree (Management, Engineering, Operations Preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Logistics/Warehousing Industry experience.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project & Visio skills.
• AutoCAD is a plus.
• Warehouse Management System(s) experience.
• English (reading, writing, verbal); Spanish a plus.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• E-commerce experience including starting up small to large volume solutions.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
• Ability to travel 50% range.
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 pounds.

Benefits

• Expected base pay range: $105,000.00 – $130,000.00 Annually.
