Role Description

The Revenue Cycle Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic and tactical initiatives that drive operational excellence across OhioHealth’s revenue cycle operations. This role oversees all facets of project management, including:

• Planning
• Scheduling
• Budgeting
• Communication
• Change management
• Risk mitigation
• Performance reporting

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing system upgrades
• Implementing innovative technologies
• Leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
• Commercialization of revenue cycle services
• Launching new sites and services
• Integrating professional and vendor solutions
• Utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making
• Monitoring project performance and ROI through KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance
• PMP - Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including patient access, billing, coding, claims management, and reimbursement processes
• Expertise in hospital patient accounting systems
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines
• Experience in leading complex projects within a healthcare environment
• Strong focus on improving financial performance and operational efficiency
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with Epic EHR and revenue cycle management (RCM) platforms is highly desirable
