Role Description

The candidate will be responsible for managing healthcare payer operations projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state mandates.

• 6 to 10 years of direct Project Management experience with healthcare payer operations.
• Recent hands-on experience in project/program resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting with both on-shore and off-shore staff.
• Experience leading projects and programs within and outside IT, as well as projects involving external providers.
• Demonstrated ability in estimating, calculating, and reporting on financials.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Implements Mandate projects to ensure BSC is compliant with regulations, laws, and national association requirements.

Qualifications

• Specific experience as it relates to required and desired skills.
• Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Planview, or similar project management tool.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
• PMP Preferred but not required; SAFe Scrum Master or CSM desired.
