Role Description

As a Manager for Strategic Projects at Healogics, you will have a part in changing lives every day. You will do this by combining strong data analysis, project management, business, technical, and personal leadership skills to lead Healogics’ initiatives within the strategy team.

This role will work cross-functionally across the organization and with executives in the business to successfully define processes, execute on projects, and contribute to our key results.

The successful individual will have the ability to communicate well with people in all roles and be able to report status to the executive team. This includes:

• Facilitating meetings
• Conflict resolution
• Influencing others to achieve the common objective

The individual will have the discipline to focus on small improvements in scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and other project management activities while keeping an eye on the big picture and ensuring the whole portfolio of projects is progressing according to plan.

This role will lead business analysts and others who contribute toward the successful execution of department strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with Graduate Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 Years’ Experience as Project Manager and/or Business Analyst, healthcare setting preferred
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient in project management software
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential preferred
• Jacksonville, FL applicants are preferred

Requirements

• Create Process Excellence in Strategy Team-specific initiatives by providing project management leadership to define and execute on critical projects.
• Develop reference material for the organization on key processes and activities.
• Direct project resources in a matrixed organization with referential authority to achieve project outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and consultants as required by different projects.
• Lead meetings to facilitate successful outcomes and accelerate project timelines.
• Manage inter-project dependencies and risks to create successful outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects and ongoing operational responsibilities while monitoring, summarizing, communicating, and reporting status.
• Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Develop all aspects of projects, including a detailed project plan and schedule.
• Assemble project team, identify appropriate resources, assign responsibilities, facilitate team, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and analytics to support analysis, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
• Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish project deliverables.
• Act as a strong leader/facilitator in the development and implementation of work processes with current business units.
• Identify new Continuous Improvement and/or Project Management tools or techniques and leverage them for adoption.
• Train and mentor team members in areas of expertise.
• Perform other duties as required.

Benefits

• The base salary for this position generally ranges between $80,000-$95,000.
• This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography, as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
