Role Description

A multinational retailer delivering a major point-of-sale (POS) technology transformation program across its European operations, is looking for an established Project Manager with experience leading service management projects or workstreams on large-scale technology transformation programs.

The Service Management Workstream Lead role is accountable for leading the design, mobilization, and running of six service management work packages, through pilot, mass deployment, and into the early stages of transition to business-as-usual (BAU) support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in project management, service management, IT service delivery, or program workstream lead roles.
• Experience in retail, fuel and convenience, or point-of-sale environments is an advantage.
• Experience designing or operating service management processes (incident, problem, and escalation management); ITIL Foundation certification, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
• Experience building or scaling a support operating model across a multi-site estate.
• Comfortable working directly with technology vendors and managing escalation relationships.
• Experience planning hypercare-to-BAU transitions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently at program level.

Requirements

• Retail, Global, brick and mortar experience.
• ITIL knowledge is positive because of ITSM.
• Multi-vendor management and coordination (2 EU vendors and 1 APAC are their major vendors).
• Very important to be a go-getter.
• Payments experience in place of POS if possible, but not 100% required.
• Order management or kitchen management experience is a plus.
