Role Description

The Project Manager successfully leads and coordinates ERP and CRM software implementation projects for our customers, working closely with stakeholders, Developers, and Consultants to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities include:

• Achieving sales and profit targets.
• Adhering to the project schedule.
• Planning the deployment of resources.
• Coordinating the project team.
• Organizing the planning of project steps and work packages.
• Monitoring completion of tasks.
• Reporting on project progress internally and externally.
• Acting as the customer's first point of contact.
• Receiving new requirements (change requests) and preparing offers.
• Organizing and moderating coordination with the customer, providing technical advice.

Key activities include:

• Project planning: managing tasks, monitoring dependencies, and resource planning.
• Monitoring project progress, budget status, and key project targets.
• Ensuring project deliverables are achieved and adhering to project budget.
• Managing Change Requests and monitoring target achievement.
• Creating detailed project plans, budgets, and process/support documentation.
• Managing complex project schedules and balancing conflicting priorities.
• Reporting project status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Specifying projects to assist sales and pre-sales teams with proposals and contracts.
• Identifying and managing risks for timely project delivery.
• Identifying and solving problems, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Drafting and retaining accessible project documents for team members.
• Maintaining SharePoint file organization and management for collaborations.
• Reviewing time entries for appropriate descriptions of services performed.
• Invoicing and budget to actual reporting.
• Preparing weekly or monthly budget status reports and supporting forecasting efforts.
• Organizing the handover from sales to the project team and planning kickoff with customers.
• Monitoring contract compliance and coordinating with customers.
• Planning and moderating project steering meetings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management and related experience in large software implementations or custom development, ideally in the Microsoft Dynamics product range.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Project Manager (CMP), or other related project management certification preferred, but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Mastery of Microsoft Project or other project tools.
• Experience working within a technical team.
• Experience within an Agile environment.
• Project implementation and consulting experience.
• Experience working with remote/virtual teams.
• Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with project management systems, scheduling, time entry, and billing.
• Knowledge of the book and magazine publishing industry and their workflows preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP software (functionalities, interrelationships).
• Knowledge of work areas and processes in book and magazine publishing houses.
• Experience with JIRA preferred, but not required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Authorization to work in the US/North America (Eastern time zone preferred).
