Role Description
This role involves leading cross-functional projects within Horace Mann. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, while ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
- Manage multiple small or medium size projects simultaneously
- Create and monitor project budgets and project plans
- Develop resourcing plan
- Identify, document and escalate issues, risks and dependencies
- Assist with stakeholder, steering committee and project sponsor reports and communications
- Communicate to project sponsors and management
Qualifications
- Product Experience in one or more lines of business
- 1-4 years project management experience
- Certification or course work in project management (i.e. CAPM, PMP)
Requirements
- Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; establish clear project plans and schedules.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; facilitate communication to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, ensure milestones are met, and report on performance to senior management.
Benefits
- Pay Range: $67,300.00 - $105,700.00
