Role Description

The Project Manager should be familiar with technical aspects of Transportation & Infrastructure Quality Assurance. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that the team delivers the right outcomes to the required level of quality, and within the constraints of time, cost, resources, and risk as developed in the Project Management Plan.

• Put in place suitable commercial and contractual arrangements.
• Build, manage, and motivate the Project Team.
• Manage, improve, and control project personnel; implement processes to keep personnel motivated and effective.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with project stakeholders, especially with the Client and Project Sponsor.
• Prepare and maintain project information; continually review and update the Project Management Plan.
• Identify and evaluate risks; determine and manage remedial actions.
• Monitor progress against plans; control the work of producing the products, services, and results the project was undertaken to produce.
• Implement “Project Control” processes and procedures; manage and control changes.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate project reports and plans to all stakeholders.
• Keep work in progress (WIP) to a minimum; keep invoicing up to date and payments on schedule.
• Identify and follow-up on opportunities for further work in consultation with Sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Professional Engineer License (any state)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven management experience with a large team/project (500k+)
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector
• Must have a working knowledge of AWS codes, ASME Codes, ACI, PCI, and coatings.
• Experience working on bridge and rail projects.

Requirements

• Salary Range: $130-$160k per year
