Role Description

Join our team in Orlando, FL as an experienced ERP SAP Retrofit Specialist and take the lead in managing and executing the complex synchronization of transport changes across multi-track SAP landscapes. As a Project Engineer, you will oversee critical retrofit operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project developments into the main operations track—maintaining business continuity and supporting upcoming releases. Responsibilities

• Lead retrofit governance and execution for multi-track SAP environments, ensuring precise and timely transport synchronization using SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) or Focused Build.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve technical and functional conflicts, dependencies, and object overlaps between maintenance and project tracks.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Leads, Developers, Release Managers, and other stakeholders to assess business impact and validate retrofit procedures.
• Oversee quality assurance activities, including post-retrofit object validation, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure stability and avoid regressions.
• Develop and refine retrofit guidelines, dual-maintenance protocols, and transport cutover strategies to optimize release management processes.
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in SAP transport management, ABAP object structures, dependencies, and landscape architecture.
• Conduct advanced object comparisons, code reviews, and manual merges for custom ABAP developments, configurations, and database adjustments.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical teams across all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SAP ERP retrofit management within large, multi-track landscapes.
• Deep technical knowledge of SAP transport management systems, ABAP development, and transport dependencies.
• Proven track record of successful conflict resolution and cross-functional collaboration in SAP environments.
• Extensive experience with SAP SolMan (ChaRM) or Focused Build.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in code comparison, object merging, and configuration management.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining and optimizing dual-maintenance and transport cutover processes.
• Familiarity with release management best practices in enterprise SAP environments.
