[Hiring] Project Delivery Specialist @ASM Research

Role Description

Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects apart from team leadership. Duties generally include:

• Budgets
• Procurement
• Technical writing
• Supply chain management

Provides single point of contact for project.

• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, IT support, and client services.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Provides project management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, and support.
• Prepares and approves Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation.
• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, clients, and other departments involved in the project.
• May be responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
• May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management representative for the company, customer, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience. Master's Degree preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience working on projects/programs supporting Government Contracts.

• Excellent communication skills in working with technical and non-technical staff and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization and with customers.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent organizational and task management skills. Must demonstrate the ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Experience interfacing with government customers to understand, interpret, and analyze requirements. Experience working on government contracts is strongly desired.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. Must exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be capable of working in an environment that is demanding, sometimes stressful and requires independent thinking with minimal direct oversight by senior management.
• Must have strong MS Office, to include Project and SharePoint, skills.
• Experience with CMMI/AIMM processes and standards.
