[Hiring] Project Coordinator – EU Projects @ForEveryone Civic

Role Description

You will have two equally important areas of responsibility: running our European projects day to day, and step by step growing into writing funding applications alongside an experienced colleague.

• Project coordination:
  • Help plan and run project events and workshops, often together with international partners
  • Stay in contact with our partner organisations across Europe
  • Keep track of timelines, tasks and budgets
  • Take notes and prepare reports for our funders
• Funding and proposal development:
  • Learn how to research funding programmes and write funding proposals, with support from a colleague
  • Help manage grants and funding documentation across our projects
  • Build up your understanding of EU and German funding structures over time

If you only have basic experience with writing funding proposals so far, that's totally fine. We'll support you in building this further, and most of the learning happens on the job.

Qualifications

• A structured, reliable way of working — you like organising things and finishing what you start
• Clear communication and the confidence to hold your own, even when things get busy
• A genuine interest in research, reading and structured writing (proposals, reports, anything requiring a clear argument)
• Comfortable working with AI tools — we write most of our funding proposals with AI support, so being open to prompting and editing drafts matters here
• Confident English (C1), our main working language; German is a bonus, not a requirement
• Motivated by our mission, no matter your professional background

• Nice to have (not required): grant management, project proposals, NGO experience, event planning, fundraising, impact-oriented thinking.

Conditions

• Working hours: 32–36 hours per week
• Start: August 2026 or by arrangement
• Compensation: €2,400 to €2,800 gross per month at 36 hours (pro rata for fewer hours)
• Location: Kiezlab coworking space, Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
