Role Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to support the delivery of a Genius Point of Sale (POS) platform, a payment and commerce technology environment supporting merchants and businesses with payment acceptance and related operational capabilities. The role focuses on coordinating several connected projects and workstreams across business and technology functions to ensure that product development, technical delivery, operational readiness and commercial launch activities are aligned. The Programme Manager will work with various teams to ensure all teams work towards the same programme objectives and deliver their commitments according to the agreed plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated programme delivery plans.
• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams across technical and business functions.
• Coordinate product development with operational and commercial readiness.
• Support product launch planning and milestone reviews.
• Work with Technical Programme Managers and Project Managers responsible for individual workstreams.
• Identify programme risks, issues and blockers, and track critical path activities.
• Prepare programme status reports and dashboards, and organise governance meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve programme delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant programme, project or delivery management experience.
• Genuine Programme Management experience.
• Experience coordinating several projects or delivery workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving technical and business teams.
• Strong programme planning and execution skills.
• Experience managing dependencies between different teams.
• Experience with programme governance and reporting.
• Strong risk, issue and milestone management.
• Experience working with software engineering and product teams.
• Understanding of software product delivery.
• Experience supporting product releases or launch activities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct management authority.
• Strong communication with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in international or distributed organisations.
• Fluent English.
• Flexibility to support US teams (occasionally available until 19:00 Polish time).

Requirements

• Payments or fintech experience.
• Point of Sale technology.
• Merchant acquiring or payment acceptance platforms.
• Retail or hospitality technology.
• SaaS product delivery.
• Knowledge of merchant onboarding and billing systems.
• Experience with large enterprise technology programmes.
• Agile software delivery experience and familiarity with SDLC.
• Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• PMP, CAPM, Agile or Scrum certification.
