Role Description

The Program Manager – Project Management is responsible for leading and overseeing complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Create detailed project plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully implement a project.
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities.
• Oversee and manage large programs, often managing multiple related projects across different departments.
• Host discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture current state and make recommendations on future state process improvements.
• Work effectively to set goals, identify problems, and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proactively communicate and manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis.
• Manage deliverables according to project timelines.
• Demonstrate the ability to integrate learnings from past projects and align them with broader initiatives.
• Lead teams in high priority risk situations by coordinating and instilling a sense of urgency.
• Act as point of escalation for critical implementation-related risks.
• Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum necessary to perform assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of project management experience required.
• PMP certification is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Requirements

• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
• Travel to client sites may be required.
• Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to move around the work area.
• Must be able to sit, perform manual tasks, and operate office equipment.
• May need to extend arms, kneel, talk, and hear.

Mental Demands
