Role Description

The position involves managing and executing project work plans while adapting to changing needs and requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate.
• Developing statements of work, WBS, and overall project schedule.
• Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities.
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Applying Fortinet’s methodology and enforcing project standards.
• Minimizing Fortinet’s exposure and risk on projects.
• Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Coordinating activities with all customer-facing Fortinet functions.
• Determining appropriate revenue recognition and ensuring timely invoicing.
• Accurately forecasting revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates, and utilization.
• Ensuring project legal documents are completed and signed.
• Facilitating PS, Presales & SE team and client meetings effectively.
• Communicating relevant project information to executive management.
• Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
• Highlighting areas of improvement and recommending changes in methods, processes, and tools.
• Monitoring and managing operational and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Handling project escalations and following up on customer satisfaction surveys.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with sales teams.
• Recruiting, hiring, and retaining engineers for professional services.
• Maintaining a great working atmosphere for personal and professional development.
• Defining, documenting, enforcing, and enhancing processes for PS engagement requests.
• Collaborating with peers to improve service to customers and partners.
• Managing relationships with customers, partners, and corporate organizations.
• Establishing and enforcing processes for higher efficiency and productivity.
• Aligning strategies to proactively avoid potential issues in pre-sales processes.
• Constantly following up on processes to ensure proper maintenance.

Qualifications

• Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills.
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
• Experience as a Program Manager is a plus.
• Experience working independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to think creatively to develop new solutions.
• Experience in a Professional Services role in a networking/security company or equivalent education.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to energize and lead others.
• Previous experience leading teams is a must.
• Multilingual skills are a plus: oral and/or written, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Good technical knowledge of computer networks and Internet security.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to travel around 20% of the time.
